Joshua 2:11-13

¹¹ When we heard these reports,^[a] we all became terrified and discouraged^[b] because of you, for the Lord your God is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath. ¹² Now therefore, since I’ve treated you so kindly,^[c] please swear in the name of^[d] the Lord that you’ll also be kind^[e] to my father’s household by giving me this^[f] sure sign: ¹³ Spare my father, my mother, and my brothers and sisters, along with everyone who belongs with them so we won’t be killed.”
